Our founder, Kgabisang Pholo, is a passionate motorcyclist.
From a young age Kgabisang had an interest in technology, business, as well as motorcycling. For additional income, he assisted his father over weekends with odd jobs and started showing an interest in bringing various solutions back to his home suburb, Khayelitsha.
One such venture was the ideal solution: Training other people to also ride a motorcycle, therefore gaining a potential entry into the economy.
Hlaku invested in motorcycles to expand their training capacity and to date own four such motorcycles.
From humble beginnings we are in the heart of Khayelitsha, we are perfectly located to access youth eagerly awaiting opportunities to escape poverty and unemployment. These trained youth could service the entire City of Cape Town, primarily the CBD, Bellville, Durbanville and surrounding suburbs.
A track record of 100% completion shows our commitment to the rider, taking the rider through the steps for K53 and licensing to the point where all the basis are covered.
Both employees at Hlaku and our students testify that this is not just a job, but a passion.
